Job summary

GCash in Manila is seeking a strategic risk professional to strengthen the risk management framework and governance across the organization. You will partner with the CRO to embed continuous enhancements and promote a culture of proactive risk awareness.

You will lead enterprise-wide risk identification and assessment, drive the use of ORM tools like RCSA, PRA, and KRIs, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. A dynamic FinTech environment awaits.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in designing, embedding, and implementing continuous enhancements to Risk Management functions.
• Fosters a management philosophy and culture aligned with effective risk management throughout the organization.
• Spearheads enterprise-wide operational risk identification and assessment.
• Utilizes ORM tools including RCSA, PRA, KRI, Incident Management, Issue and Action Management.
• Ensures comprehensive implementation of all Risk Tools.
• Leads business planning activities for Risk Management and shapes strategies for the Risk Group.
• Contributes insights to work plans and assigned areas; facilitates RG strategy development.
• Formulates and implements operational risk management strategies with regulatory compliance in mind.
• Develops and reviews the Risk Management Framework and policies/guidelines mandated by regulators; governance, reporting, escalations.
• Reviews risk reports and escalates key risks to CRO, Senior Management, and the Board as needed.
• Validates gap analyses against regulations/policies and coordinates escalations with risk owners.
