Job summary

GCash, a leading FinTech champion in the Philippines, seeks a Governance Lead to ensure adherence to policies, laws, and regulatory findings across functions. You will collaborate with Audit, Risk, Compliance, Corporate Strategy and Business teams on critical initiatives.

You will oversee board operations, prepare communications on strategic projects, and drive process improvements while mentoring teams to uphold high governance standards in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Excellent leadership, people and communication skills.
• Proven experience in business governance or related role.
• Experience addressing governance issues.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong work ethics and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Experience driving change in processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversees governance projects to ensure compliance with policies, laws and regulations.
• Collaborates with Audit, Risk, Compliance, Corporate Strategy and Business teams on regulatory findings.
• Ensures understanding and adherence to internal processes and policies across functions.
• Manages stakeholder mapping and prepares communications on strategic projects and partnerships.
• Handles special projects requested by top management and related duties.
• Prepares presentations and reports for key stakeholders.
• Oversees closure of regulatory findings and enforcement of identified risks.
• Manages and facilitates board operations including agendas, presentations and alignment with strategy.
• Ensures stakeholder communications and governance guidance from Governance teams.
• Delivers regular governance metrics reports for executive view.
• Drives team engagement, enablement and process improvements.
