Job summary

Ethos is seeking heads of regulatory compliance to help train their language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role requires ownership of DPIAs, RoPA, and privacy notices, with expert drafting of DPAs for regulators and customers.

Remote, flexible engagement with strong written communication and attention to detail. The position is fully remote, offering 5–20 hours per week with ASAP start and compensation at $90/hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data privacy or regulatory compliance with direct ownership of DPIAs, records of processing activities, and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments.
• Experience drafting privacy notices and vendor DPAs that withstand regulator and customer scrutiny.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slides across core workflows (DPIAs, RoPA, GDPR/CCPA gap assessments, privacy notices, DPAs, breach notification).
• Ensure regulatory alignment and robust data protection practices in training data and outputs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet compliance requirements and maintain high-quality deliverables.
