Job summary

Fractional Jobs is expanding its remote recruiting leadership team. We’re seeking a Head of Recruiting to take ownership of end-to-end matchmaking for US-based startups and SMBs, overseeing sourcing, screening, and client relationships at scale.

You’ll lead a small team of screeners and sourcers, work asynchronously, and drive metrics like time-to-hire and placement rate, with overlap into US Eastern Time. This role offers stable monthly compensation and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience, including screening and sourcing candidates yourself.
• Experience recruiting US-based tech startups, focused on US-based talent.
• Experience managing recruiting teams of screeners and sourcers.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships in a recruiting/staffing context.
• Experience recruiting a broad range of roles typical in tech startups and SMBs.
• Familiarity with the latest AI tools used in daily recruiting work.

Responsibilities

• Scope new roles, develop strategy, and calibrate with leadership for alignment.
• Oversee candidate shortlisting from our candidate network across 5–10 roles concurrently.
• Manage a small team of screeners and sourcers.
• Screen applications and perform sourcing as needed.
• Own candidate communications and co-own client relationships.
• Own metrics such as placement rate and time-to-hire.
