Job summary

SPHERE HEALTH, a women’s virtual care platform, is launching its Philippines team. We seek an Operations Lead to manage patient experience workflows—lab orders, scheduling, pharmacy fulfillment, and escalation management—and own post-launch stability.

This hands-on role reports to the founding team, with significant ownership from day one as we scale, collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in operations roles, with at least 2 years in healthcare operations (telehealth, digital health, clinics, diagnostics, or pharmacy).
• Direct-to-consumer operations experience: managed operations for subscription or e-commerce and understood fulfillment, service levels, and consumer expectations.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and handling protected health information.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end patient journey workflows: onboarding, lab fulfillment, clinical scheduling, prescription fulfillment, and renewals.
• Monitor daily ops dashboards and queues; identify stuck orders, handoffs, and SLA breaches, driving resolution.
• Coordinate with diagnostic, clinical, and pharmacy partners on status, exceptions, and escalations.
• Build and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and escalation paths; document processes for longevity beyond individuals.
• Track and report operational KPIs (turnaround times, fulfillment rates, escalation volume) to leadership weekly.
• Manage critical results and urgent escalation workflows to ensure timely clinical review.
