The VP/Head will lead IT strategy, governance, and digital transformation initiatives, manage budgets, and partner with executives to align technology with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for senior leadership roles.
• Extensive leadership experience in large-scale IT environments.

The Head of Information Technology is a strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the overall technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and growth initiatives. This role oversees all aspects of the IT landscape, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data management, and digital innovation. The VP will drive digital transformation, foster a culture of technological excellence, and ensure IT delivers measurable business value across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic IT Leadership: Design and execute a comprehensive IT strategy and roadmap that aligns with the companys long-term objectives, enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and competitiveness in the retail sector.
• Digital Transformation: Drive and lead digital transformation efforts by leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, cloud computing, and advanced analytics to innovate retail operations, improve customer engagement, and optimize supply chain processes.
• Technology Governance & Risk Management: Develop and implement strong IT governance structures, policies, and procedures to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and effective risk management across all IT systems and operations.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build and guide a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and customer focus. Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and career growth within the department.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and cost-effective technology investments that maximize return on investment.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with executive leadership and business unit leaders to understand technology requirements, prioritize initiatives, and communicate IT achievements and value.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure, maintaining high availability and performance to support critical retail functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years at a Senior Director or VP level in a large, complex organization.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into tangible IT initiatives.
• Extensive experience with digital transformation, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and diverse technical teams.
