Job summary

PM Consulting seeks a Head of Compliance & Governance (Insurance/Banking/Financial Services) to lead a 4–5 member team onsite at BGC. You will oversee AML, privacy, regulatory reporting, and policy governance, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer.

The role requires 7+ years in compliance within financial services, strong governance and risk management knowledge, and experience with regulators and senior executives. CPA/JD/LLB are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

7+ years of compliance management experience within insurance, asset management, banking, or financial services
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management
Experience managing compliance teams and stakeholders
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with regulators and senior executives

Responsibilities

Support the Chief Compliance Officer in overseeing compliance programs including AML, anti-bribery, fraud, privacy, business conduct, and regulatory compliance
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business
Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports
Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls
Conduct compliance risk assessments and provide recommendations to management
Oversee compliance monitoring and testing activities
Deliver compliance training and awareness programs
Provide compliance guidance to business units and senior leaders
Represent the Compliance function in meetings, committees, and industry engagements when required
Manage and develop a team of 4–5 compliance professionals
