Job summary

Sun Life Philippines is seeking a Head of Compliance Governance to oversee the compliance function across Sun Life entities in the Philippines. The role ensures adherence to regulatory expectations, promotes risk-aware culture, and provides professional compliance guidance to leadership.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in insurance/asset management compliance, strong communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while engaging regulators and executives across Sun

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required; CPA or LLB preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory developments affecting Sun Life Philippines.
• Strong advisory and consulting skills with regulators and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SLFP’s compliance with local and Canada regulations under the Compliance Governance program.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulators and SLFP senior management in a timely manner.
• Partner with Compliance and business units to develop policies, procedures and standards; assess compliance requirements for SLFP entities.
