Job summary

Metrobank in Pasay City is seeking a Head, Collections Strategies and Business Performance to lead the unit, shape collection strategies across multiple systems (Collection Management System, Predictive Dialer, Adeptra) and ensure performance standards are met.

The role requires strategic planning, project management, capacity planning, and strong collaboration with IT, other units, and vendors to optimize collection outcomes, while adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder; preferably graduate of business course. Relevant experience in Collections / Credit / Risk Management.
• At least 7 years experience in collections, preferably from a credit card company or bank.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably handling officers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy formulation and execution.
• Monitor daily operations of Collections to ensure consistent execution of strategies.
• Analyze data and reports to spot key areas and opportunities on productivity to improve overall Collections metrics.
• Initiate and collaborate with other Unit Heads on strategic plans and challenges.
• Manage projects and initiatives; act as Business Lead for Collections projects.
• Ensure availability of inputs such as Concept Paper, BRD, and Test Scripts; manage UAT.
• Review system performance data and recommend process changes to optimize collections units.
• Coach and motivate team members to achieve targets and improve performance.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors to ensure SLAs and system updates; monitor issues to closure.
