Job summary

Artelia is seeking an experienced Business Development Head to lead growth across Infrastructure, Buildings, Energy, Water & Environment, Industry and Mobility in the Philippines. You will shape the strategy, drive revenue and strengthen client relationships with developers, investors and authorities.

You will lead proposals, manage negotiations and mentor the BD team while collaborating with technical units to deliver client-focused offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, business, marketing, economics, project management or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, infrastructure, construction, energy or PM sectors.
• Minimum 5 years in business development, sales leadership, market expansion or strategic growth functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for revenue growth and market expansion across targeted sectors.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new opportunities while maintaining a strong project pipeline.
• Build and strengthen relationships with clients, developers, investors, government authorities and partners.
• Lead proposal preparation, tender submissions, negotiations and contract discussions to secure projects.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to develop client-focused offerings and winning proposals.
• Track business performance, sales forecasts and pipeline, reporting to management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the BD team to meet objectives and targets.

ABOUT JOB:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Head to lead business growth initiatives, identify new market opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue generation across multiple sectors including Infrastructure, Buildings, Energy, Water & Environment, Industry, and Mobility.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to support revenue growth and market expansion across targeted sectors.

• Build and strengthen relationships with clients, developers, investors, government authorities, and strategic partners.
• Lead proposal preparation, tender submissions, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions to secure new projects.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and support business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to develop client-focused service offerings and winning proposals.
• Track business performance, sales forecasts, and pipeline status, providing regular updates to management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development team to achieve business objectives and commercial targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, infrastructure, construction, energy, or project management industries.
• At least five (5) years in business development, sales leadership, market expansion, or strategic growth functions.
• Proven experience developing business across infrastructure, energy, environmental, industrial, or engineering sectors.
• Demonstrated success in winning major consultancy, engineering, EPCM, PMC, or infrastructure projects.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Engineering consultancy, project management consultancy (PMC), EPCM, infrastructure, or construction sector experience.
• Existing professional network within the Philippine infrastructure, energy, environmental, industrial, and transportation sectors.
• Experience working with government agencies, developers, multinational clients, and international funding institutions.
• Familiarity with regional APAC business development and market expansion initiatives.
