Job summary

ePlane Company in India is seeking a senior engineering leader to define and manage the aircraft architecture, ensuring subsystem harmony across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.

You will drive MBSE/DMSE deployments, oversee interfaces and ICDs, and lead weight and balance strategies while aligning with airworthiness and regulatory requirements.

This role requires 10–15 years in aerospace with leadership in OEM or Tier-1 environments and a strong track record in systems integration.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive aerospace engineering experience.
• 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles within an Aircraft OEM or Tier-1 aerospace supplier.
• Strong background in aircraft systems integration and airworthiness certification.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage overall aircraft architecture across subsystems.
• Oversee ICDs; interface management and space/weight decisions.
• Own mass properties and lead weight targets.
• Collaborate with Airworthiness for DGCA-VCA compliance.
• Lead MBSE/DMU implementations to catch conflicts in the virtual world.
• Oversee supplier technical oversight for major Tier 1 equipment.
• Coordinate integration sequencing of parts and LRUs.
• Direct testing and pre-installation checks for LRUs.
