Job summary

Aux is seeking an Accounting & Operations Specialist to own day-to-day accounting and financial operations for the business from our Philippines-based team. You will manage accounts payable, employee expenses, transaction coding, reconciliations, and early financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for month-end close and multi-entity reporting.

The role requires strong English communication, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, and comfort working with US-based processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping with US-based business support.
• Strong understanding of US accounting and bookkeeping practices.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and basic accounting systems.
• Experience with accounts payable, expense management, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong GL coding and chart-of-accounts knowledge.
• Experience preparing or reviewing P&L and balance sheet reports.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own Accounts Payable processing and vendor bill routing for approval and payment.
• Manage employee expense reporting end-to-end and ensure policy compliance.
• Classify and code AP, expenses, and card transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and review transactions for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet reports for internal review.
• Maintain reconciliations and documentation to support month-end close.
• Serve as primary contact for financial activity questions and status updates.
• Identify process improvements and help implement better controls.
