Air Link International Aviation College seeks a qualified Guidance Counselor to lead student development programs, provide counseling support, and collaborate with parents and teachers. You will design educational and counseling plans, assess student strengths, and monitor progress.
Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in guidance and counseling and be a registered counselor with at least 3 years of experience. Strong English communication and detail-oriented approach are essential.
The Guidance Counselor serves as the facilitator for students to achieve academic or career goals and assists them in developing their social and psychological capacity. The goal is to enable the students to become mature and well-functioning adults.
Develop and implement an all-encompassing educational and counseling plan with modern methods of teaching and mentoring.
Foster equal opportunity practices and encourage students’ association.
Pay attention to cultural or societal differences in dealing with the students.
Conduct group or individual counselling sessions to assist students with problems or concerns.
Assess students’ attributes and help them realize their strengths.
Evaluate the progress of students and reinforce the sense of accomplishment.
Identify behavioral problems or at-risk students and act appropriately.
Cooperate with parents and teachers as well as other interested parties.
Complete assessments and tests, analyse results and provide feedback.
Study and update student records.
Prepare and present reviews on progress.
May perform other tasks/duties beyond your functions as deemed necessary by the management.
Master’s degree relevant to guidance and counseling
Registered Guidance Counselor
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in counselling
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
Organizational ability with good attention to detail and quality.
