• Build meaningful partnerships with students, parents, teachers, and community partners to create a safe and supportive school environment
• Champion student success through proactive interventions, confidential counseling, data-driven programs, and continuous professional development

About the role

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the School Guidance Counselor supports students in overcoming personal, academic, and career-related challenges through counseling, guidance programs, and preventive interventions. The role fosters a safe, trusting, and confidential environment that promotes self-awareness, decision-making, problem-solving, and life skills. The counselor works closely with students, parents, teachers, the community, and partner agencies to promote student well-being, development, and success.
