Job summary

St. Anthony Foundation in San Francisco is seeking a Guest Services Associate to greet guests, provide information and referrals, and guide access to SAF services.

You will support guests with special needs and maintain compassionate, high-quality customer care within the Dining Room, Welcome Center, and related programs. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks, updating program data, assisting with holiday volunteers, and coordinating outreach in local neighborhoods.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit or community-based social services is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in a second language is strongly desired (Spanish, Mandarin, Tagalog, Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide information and referrals, and assist with access to SAF services.
• Care for guests with special needs and ensure compassionate, dignified treatment.
• Maintain current information on internal programs and local social services.
• Complete incident reports and daily logs; enter data into required databases.
• Support volunteers and coordinate outreach to communities in Tenderloin, SOMA, and Civic Center.
