Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group seeks a Guest Services Driver to deliver outstanding guest service on property. You will greet guests, drive them to the property, answer questions, and ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and well-maintained for daily operations.

The role requires a positive, can-do attitude, the ability to multi-task, and strong problem-solving skills to assist both internal and external guests as part of the Rosewood experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an excellent level of service and follow the standards established by Rosewood Mayakoba.
• Show up 15 minutes prior to the Schedule of duties to make a Briefing with the important points of the day.
• Report, as a minimum, two hours prior to work schedule any labour infringement or absence, presenting your corresponding medic constancy in case of sickness.
• Count with your work equipment individually, such as cellphone, hands-free, Rosewood pen and Rosewood pamphlet.
• Register entrance and departure of labor daily, reporting any anomaly immediately.
• Bear the uniform established following the standards of appearance of the company.
• Know and apply company policies to align with standards across departments.
• Know the function of the work equipment.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond with appropriate information for each guest.
• Drive vehicles (SUV) responsibly, as every element is important for the department operation.
• Confirm with each guest or Butler the number of bags of luggage.
• Assist in the Front Office operation at all times.
• Realize the cleaning of equipment and work areas (transport areas and parking areas)
• Ensure the vehicle is full of gas and clean at end of shift daily.
• Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external guests.
• Know hotel attractions, locations of Rosewood hotels, and schedules for dining/amenities.
• Monitor cleanliness and upkeep of assigned work areas.
• Know the event program of the day to provide guests with correct information.

Job description

PURPOSE

Guest Service Driver must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. Applicants must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to solve problem in order to effectively deal with internal and external guest.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

The Guest Services Driver is responsible for greeting and assisting the guest and providing outstanding guest service during their visit in our property, Primary responsibilities include greeting guests, drive guest to the property, answer guest questions and any doubt they might have about area. Additional responsibilities will be to monitor flight arrival and maintain their vehicle and keep it clean, amenities always in their vehicle and also on a daily line up to know guest information arrival for services transfer they have on the daily operation.

OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 10. Drive responsibly the Vehicles (SUV), because each element is important for the department operation.
• 11. Confirm with each guest, or Butler, the number of bags of luggage.
• 12. Assist in each moment the operation of the Front Office.
• 13. Realize the cleaning of equipment and work areas (throngs, Offices transportation, Parking transportation area and vehicles transportation)
• 14. Ensure that the vehicle is fully gas and clean every single day at the end of the shift.
• 15. Maintain excellent relationships in each moment with inner and external guests.
• 16. Know all the attractive spots in the hotel and of the chain, as well as the schedules for the consumption center in our hotel as the locations of each one of the hotels that makes Rosewood. Have knowledge in the attractions and local activities. Be able to respond correctly to the questions from the guest.
• 17. Monitor constantly the cleanliness and impeccable conservation of the assigned work areas.
• 18. Know the event program of the day to provide the guest with the correct information.
