The Receptionist is accountable to complete all assigned tasks with the highest level of service quality. Guest relations through well-developed food and beverage skills, knowledge and experience, in accordance with the vision, values and objectives of the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- A.1. Always greet guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
- A.2. Establish immediate eye contact and smile with guest
- A.3. Always thank and farewell guests conveying anticipation for their next visit
- A.4. Be friendly and flamboyant as an individual
- A.5. Maintains the conversation and do not expose any sensitive topics to the guest
- A.6. Ensures that brand standards of the hotel where one is assigned are consistently implemented
- A.7. Have knowledge of menu and presentation standards and sound knowledge of beverages preparation techniques
- A.8. Ensures that the outlet is kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the heart of house
- A.9. Prepares and assembles orders in sequence and make quality check before service
- A.10. Applies food and beverage service techniques correctly at all times, serving items with enthusiasm
- A.11. Completes the daily responsibilities that are set for each individual shift
- A.12. Reviews order dockets ensuring accurate and timely preparations for order requirements accordingly
- A.13. Recognizes the step of the billing process
- A.14. Anticipates for any unexpected to know the daily task assign
- A.15. Communicates effectively to know the daily task assign
- A.16. Maintains back up supplies stock for the daily operations and to anticipated busy demands
- A.17. Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotel’s policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety
- A.18. Adheres to the established and specified uniform, grooming, hygiene and personal appearance standards
- A.19. Responds to changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
- A.20. Attends training sessions and meetings as when required
- A.21. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements
- A.22. Adheres to all Hotel policies and procedure
- A.23. Immediately reports and turns over lost and found articles to the housekeeping office (for non-valuables) or to Security Office (for valuables), following required procedures at all times
- A.24. Ensures and maintains confidently of all guest’s information and pertinent hotel data
- A.25. Maintain the highest standard of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards guest and colleagues
- A.26. Maintain harmonious relationship with the assigned Client Hotel
