Qualifications

• Proven experience in a guest-facing role within the hospitality, tourism or customer service industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, providing a welcoming first impression
• Check guests in and out efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy in all administrative procedures
• Address guest inquiries, requests and concerns promptly and courteously, resolving issues to the highest standard of service
• Provide detailed information about facilities, services, local attractions and dining options available to guests
• Manage guest accounts, process payments and handle billing inquiries with accuracy and discretion
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
• Maintain thorough knowledge of room availability, rates and special promotions
• Respond to guest feedback constructively, identifying opportunities for service improvement
• Ensure the front desk area remains organised, clean and professionally presented at all times
• Manage reservations systems and maintain accurate guest records
