Job summary

PeopleStrong resort is seeking a guest-facing server to greet guests, present menus, and suggest items. You will take orders, handle POS transactions, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

The role includes upselling beverages and desserts, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, and maintaining service standards. Basic cooking familiarity is helpful, and you may assist in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
• Ability to communicate products and services available at the resort.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
• Informs guests about specials and menu changes.
• Suggest food and beverages to guests and upsell.
• Take food and beverage orders using POS or hand held device.
• Accept payments, issue receipts and return change.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Coordinate with buspersons, kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.
• Serve food and beverages to guests and ensure satisfaction.
• Open and pour wine tableside and prepare mixed drinks.
• Print closing reports and handle cash with front office.
• Tally credit card settlements with the daily batch.
