Job summary

Tech Mahindra Philippines is hiring an IT NOC Engineer to monitor, escalate, coordinate, and communicate incidents affecting the IT infrastructure and services. You will join a Manila-based 24/7 operations team and work with internal and external engineering groups to resolve outages.

The role requires BS IT or Engineering, strong IP network knowledge, and solid incident management skills, with a focus on customer service and ITIL-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS IT, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Knowledgeable in NOC functions/processes.
• IP network knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Good understanding of Internet, Ethernet, IPVPN and other ISP products and technologies.
• Strong documentation and communication skills (Verbal and Written).
• Has strong analytical thinking and technical aptitude.
• Good incident management skills and experience.
• Good knowledge of support systems and processes.
• Ability to work and interact with people within the business and meet project/task deadlines.
• Results driven, high attention to detail with the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• IT NOC monitors, escalates, coordinates, and communicates business and operational incidents impacting the IT infrastructure, applications and services.
• Manila IT NOC is a team of Operators rostered over 24/7 who perform the real-time monitoring of events (alerts), email, messaging platforms and calls.
• Raise incident tickets in response to monitoring alerts and reports from internal/external customers.
• Work with internal and external engineering teams to resolve an outage.
• Hands-on coordination and escalation of network and escalated incidents.
• Manage and communicate the incident as per incident SLA.
• Maintain technical capability by constantly learning and keeping up to date with TPG’s product and services.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
