Job summary

Jubilant Ingrevia Limited is seeking a Group Leader - Pharma CDMO to head a team of scientists focusing on route scouting, process development, scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization for global CDMO customers.

You will drive innovation, ensure timely project execution, support customer interactions, and maintain regulatory and safety compliance to deliver commercially viable manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in Pharma CDMO, API or Fine Chemical process development.
• Strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, scale-up, and process optimization.
• Experience in pilot plant operations, scale-up processes and commercial manufacturing support.
• Proven experience in leading scientific teams and managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, documentation and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process research and development activities for pharmaceutical APIs and intermediates.
• Drive route scouting, non-infringing route development, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Identify critical process parameters and establish robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot complex synthetic challenges and process-related issues.
• Prepare technology transfer packages, batch manufacturing records, and process reports.
