Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our global team. You will deliver creative content across digital and print channels, supporting our brand, content and marketing activities while collaborating with the wider graphics and communications team.

You will work with internal stakeholders, including Directors, to receive briefs, meet deadlines, and contribute to maintaining a consistent brand identity across bids, reports, presentations and digital collateral.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of proven graphic design experience.
• Proven layout ability and ability to work to a creative brief.
• Experience on multi-page documents such as bids and reports.
• Experience preparing artwork for print.
• Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint.
• Experience developing and enforcing a brand identity and brand guidelines.
• Knowledge of updating websites using WordPress.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Produce graphic design for a wide range of digital and print materials, including bids, reports, company profiles, brochures, presentations, social media posts and display banners.
• Follow brand identity guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel across all artwork.
• Collaborate with the global graphics and communications team and liaise with Directors to receive briefs and set achievable deadlines.
• Keep up to date with new design technology, software and techniques and share ideas with the team.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.

Are you a talented Graphic Designer looking to bring your creativity to a growing global engineering business? Then this role is for you.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer to join our team. You’ll deliver creative content across our digital and print channels, supporting our brand, content and commercial marketing activities, while working closely with the wider global graphics and communications team.

You’ll report to our UK based Senior Graphic Designer and work closely with the wider global graphics and communications team, providing support and cover for colleagues when needed.

You’ll liaise directly with internal stakeholders, including Directors, to receive briefs and agree achievable deadlines, giving you strong visibility across the business.

You’ll be encouraged to keep up to date with new technology, software and systems, sharing new design techniques and innovative approaches with the rest of the team and bringing your own creative ideas to the table.

You’ll work within a business that prioritises accountability, integrity, simplicity and supportiveness in everything it does.

• Minimum of three years of proven experience in graphic design.
• Demonstrable layout ability and graphic design skills, with the ability to work to a creative brief.
• Proven experience working on multi-page documents such as bid submissions and reports.
• Experience preparing artwork for print.
• Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert skills creating artwork using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint.
• Experience developing and working with a brand identity, and enforcing adherence to brand guidelines.
• Methodical, organised and accurate, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to prioritise work, manage time effectively, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
• Knowledge of updating websites using WordPress.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
