Job summary

Starkson Packaging Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to implement and monitor measures protecting people, facilities, assets, and operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include plant, warehouse, production, and perimeter patrols, screening personnel, preventing unauthorized entry, reporting hazards, and supporting emergency evacuations. Requires high school diploma and 1–2 years security in GMP environments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of security experience in manufacturing, food, warehouse, or GMP-regulated facility.
• Knowledge of GMP, hygiene, sanitation, workplace safety, and access-control procedures is an advantage.
• Able to identify and report unauthorized entry, security threats, unsafe conditions, and GMP violations.
• Trained in fire safety, emergency response, evacuation procedures, and incident management.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the plant, warehouse, production, and perimeter areas.
• Screen employees before entry to restricted areas.
• Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted zones.
• Ensure GMP hygiene and sanitation requirements are met before access.
• Observe and report unsafe conditions or GMP violations.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents promptly.
• Assist during evacuations and incident response.
• Maintain patrol logs and incident reports.
• Check exits and safety equipment are functional.
• Coordinate with HR, Safety, GMP, production, and warehouse staff.
• Enforce security policies and visitor procedures.
• Hand over information to incoming shift.
