Job summary

Starkson Packaging Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to implement and monitor measures protecting people, facilities, assets, and operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include plant, warehouse, production, and perimeter patrols, screening personnel, preventing unauthorized entry, reporting hazards, and supporting emergency evacuations. Requires high school diploma and 1–2 years security in GMP environments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of security experience in manufacturing, food, warehouse, or GMP-regulated facility.
• Knowledge of GMP, hygiene, sanitation, workplace safety, and access-control procedures is an advantage.
• Able to identify and report unauthorized entry, security threats, unsafe conditions, and GMP violations.
• Trained in fire safety, emergency response, evacuation procedures, and incident management.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

• Enforce security policies and visitor procedures.
• Hand over information to incoming shift.

Job description

Responsible for implementing and monitoring security measures that protect people, facilities, assets, and operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct routine vehicle patrols of the plant, warehouse, production, and perimeter areas.

• Conduct regular frisking on employees before entering at the Production/Warehouse Area

• Monitor and prevent unauthorized entry into restricted production and storage areas.

• Ensure compliance with GMP hygiene and sanitation requirements before allowing entry into controlled areas.

• Observe and report unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or GMP violations.

• Protect company assets and confidential information from theft. 7. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, and security incidents.

• Assist during emergency evacuations, fire drills, and incident response activities.

• Maintain accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily security reports.

• Check that emergency exits, fire protection equipment, and security devices are operational and unobstructed.

• Coordinate with GMP Security Staff and Safety personnel regarding security and GMP concerns.

• Enforce company security policies, GMP standards, safety regulations, and visitor procedures.

• Report immediately any suspected threat to Human Resources.

• Turn over all relevant information, incidents, and observations to the incoming shift
