Job summary

Genesys is seeking an experienced individual contributor to support APAC financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and financial analysis. You will deliver accurate reporting, manage account reconciliations and variance analysis, support SOX compliance, and coordinate APAC regulatory filings and business licenses.

Role requires CPA and 5–8 years in financial reporting within multinational or BPO/SSC environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting compliance, controllership or shared services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools; AI-enabled capabilities are a plus.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review APAC month/quarter/year-end close and reporting packages.
• Coordinate APAC compliance, licenses, registrations and regulatory filings.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and internal controls; propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with FSSC, FP&A, Tax, Legal and external auditors to resolve issues.
• Maintain SOPs and drive automation in reporting and reconciliation processes.
