Job summary

DHL Express is seeking an experienced Security Investigator in Metro Manila to coordinate and investigate security incidents involving assets, personnel and shipments. You will liaise with police, conduct audits, and uphold security programs to protect the company and its customers.

The role requires 5–8 years in law enforcement or equivalent, strong investigative and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years in law enforcement agency or equivalent.
• Sound investigative record with investigation courses completed.
• Strong contact with relevant local government bodies.
• Excellent investigative skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to follow up diligently and resolve cases in a timely and effective manner.
• Be a good listener to clarify needs.
• Have a good knowledge of databases and related technology.
• Ability to collate all necessary information with strong attention to detail.
• Readily absorb and keep up to date with new product information, procedures and process flows.
• Maintain performance under pressure and be able to respond to deadlines and urgent situations.
• Be proactive, have a sense of urgency and initiative to respond to customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and investigate all security incidents relating to DHL's assets, personnel and shipments.
• Liaise with police, law enforcement and third party security organizations.
• Uphold security policies to protect shipments, staff and assets.
• Conduct security audits for facilities and processes (GSOP, TAPA, C-TPAT).
• Lodge police reports and represent DHL in court when necessary.
• Maintain the Security Incident Database.
• Assist in the delivery of the SAFE training program.
• Support management in handling complex legal and procedural issues to minimize liability.
• Develop and own specialist training for investigations.
• Security assessment of new products and services; establish security standards.
• Apply analytical processes to gauge losses and develop countermeasures.
• Carry out tasks requested by superiors.
