Job summary

BHP is seeking a Specialist Sales Operations role in Manila to drive efficient contracting, logistics, and cross-functional collaboration across commodities. You will liaise with customers, service providers, and internal teams to ensure timely contract execution and accurate material movement.

You will analyze governance controls, optimise processes, and support commercial strategy through clear communications and proactive problem solving in a dynamic international trading environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management or sales distribution
• Understanding of international trade, freight, incoterms
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across functions
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, team members, service providers and commercial staff on contract execution and shipments
• Manage accounts receivable/payables and transportation of materials
• Build positive relationships and provide feedback to peers
• Plan and prioritize work to create value
• Contribute to productivity improvement projects and governance processes
• Understand governance controls and ensure compliance in contracting
• Advise on key commercial terms and align with sales strategies
• Deliver clear messages tailored to audiences
