Job summary

Sirva is seeking an International Move Consultant to coordinate relocation services for clients and assignees, acting as the first contact for move details and ensuring outstanding customer service.

You will organize movement of household goods, manage expectations, and liaise with overseas movers, suppliers, and accounts teams to deliver smooth relocations. This is a hybrid role with global scope requiring proactive problem solving and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industry/freight forwarding experience or 3 years of related customer service experience.
• Basic geographical knowledge would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills: understanding of rev, expense margin, basic math (calculate weight, density, CWT, rates, etc).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team while being a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Set move expectations and proactively anticipate the customer’s needs.
• Handle inquiries by phone and email, possibly outside regular hours.
• Coordinate logistics, pricing, move details and troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate with overseas movers, agents, and supply chain partners.
• Ensure proper billing and revenue documentation.
