Job summary

eTeam seeks a Project Billing Analyst to support consultants by generating client bills and ensuring revenue recognition per policy for North America, EMEA and APAC regions.

The role requires 2+ years in Billing, Oracle or similar ERP project accounting, and a solid grasp of accounting processes. Responsibilities include end-to-end billing support, system entries, invoice processing, and SLA-focused performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end billing support to consultants and ensure timely invoice generation
• Enter events into project accounting systems from system sources
• Process invoice and revenue adjustments including write-ups and write-downs
• Ensure revenue recognition in correct periods and for correct projects
• Analyze amounts to be invoiced and carry-forward balances
• Dispatch draft and final bills with supporting documentation
• Respond to billing inquiries and escalate when needed
• Handle non-routine client billing issues and escalate to supervisor when unresolved
• Ensure work is aligned with targets and SLA objectives
• Contribute to continuous improvement of billing processes
• Understand Willis Towers Watson’s Contract to Cash policies and controls
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

Job description

As a Project Billing Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the consultants in the business in generating bills for their clients and ensuring that revenue is recognized according to policies, serving the North America, EMEA and APAC regions.

• 2+ years experience working in Billing
• Oracle (or other ERP platform) Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable experience
• Understanding of accounting processes

Performance Objectives:

• Provide support to consultants for the end-to-end billing generation process
• Enter events into Project Accounting as imported from system sources (e.g. Oracle OTL, AP)
• Process invoice and revenue adjustments (e.g. write-ups, write-downs, gains & losses) off Work-in-Progress (WIP) report edits from consultants
• Ensure revenue is recognized accurately (e.g. in the right accounting periods, to the correct project locations, correct practice, etc.
• Analyse amount to be invoiced / carry-forward balances
• Ensure draft and final bills are generated, approved by the consultants, contain supporting documentation (attached if necessary), and dispatched in a timely manner
• Respond to and investigate/resolve billing inquiries from consultants and client; route to other parties when necessary
• Successfully handle non-routine client’s billing issues, and escalat e to Supervisor issues that cannot be resolved
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with targets
• Plan and organize work so that Service Level Agreement objectives are realized
• Contribute ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of processes within area of influence
• Understand and apply Willis Towers Watson’s Contract to Cash processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks/duties assigned from time to time and as required
