Job summary

Cognizant in Manila seeks a subject matter expert in policy servicing for global insurance operations. You will apply strong MS Office skills to manage complex policy lifecycle tasks with accuracy and speed, while working from the office in a consistent night shift to ensure timely service delivery and high-quality stakeholder support.

Responsibilities include end-to-end servicing, data validation, creating reports, collaborating with underwriting, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency including spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, and email tools.
• Experience interpreting policy terms, endorsements, ratings and coverage for servicing accuracy.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities to validate premiums, limits and policy attributes.
• Ability to work in a night shift office environment coordinating with international hours.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• 5–7 years of relevant operations experience in policy servicing or insurance back office functions.
• Willingness to learn internal systems and drive process improvements.
• Commitment to quality control and customer centric servicing.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end policy servicing tasks including endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Analyze policy documents and client instructions for accuracy before processing.
• Prepare policy documentation and reports using MS Office for global stakeholders.
• Validate data from upstream teams and coordinate timely corrections to prevent rework.
• Maintain activity trackers, logs and dashboards to monitor volumes and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with underwriting and operations via email and virtual channels.
• Execute nightly work queues prioritizing high-impact transactions and escalate risks.
• Document SOPs and reference guides for team-wide use.
• Support compliance and audit readiness through organized digital records.
