Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Senior Global Payroll Implementation Leader in Metro Manila to drive multi-region payroll programs. You will coordinate governance, risk management, and stakeholder communications while ensuring on-time, in-scope delivery and client satisfaction.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, lead complex integrations with Workday/SuccessFactors, and manage end-to-end implementations from planning through stabilization.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting / Finance / Administrations/ Operations.
• MBA or Business Management skills preferred.
• 10–15 years’ overall experience, with at least 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in Payroll implementations for large organizations.
• Strong program and project management experience; PMP, Prince2, and Agile preferred.
• Experience with AI-powered analytics, automation, or intelligent payroll operations.
• End-to-end global payroll implementation knowledge, including upstream and downstream Payroll processes.
• Experience managing multi-country Payroll implementations in a shared service environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, organization, customer service, and team-working skills.
• Strong IT and functional integration knowledge, including Workday, SuccessFactors, HRIS, payroll platforms, T&A, and HRMS modules.
• Proven capability to define, document, and roll out procedures and processes across multiple departments or groups.
• Expertise in UAT, scenario testing, payroll parallel runs, data validation, and go-live cutover.
• Ability to engage effectively with prospects or clients and position service value and scope.
• Ability to work with internal/external customers globally and/or virtually.
• Ability to develop standard implementation methodologies, tools, and templates.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale global payroll implementation programs across multiple regions and countries.
• Apply governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, and reporting methodologies to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Serve as the primary contact for client stakeholders and manage communication, expectations, and satisfaction.
• Oversee integration of payroll technology platforms with client systems, including inbound and outbound integrations.
• Manage cross-functional teams, internal resources, and third-party vendors.
• Oversee multiple country-level implementation projects and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with global payroll regulations and standards.
• Manage the end-to-end payroll implementation lifecycle, including planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, parallel runs, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Define program goals, vision, and success metrics aligned with business strategy.
