Job summary

Paysend Group is seeking an Application Support Analyst to ensure our transaction ecosystem runs reliably across B2C and Enterprise product lines. You will investigate transactions, trace flows, and coordinate rapid incident response to keep payments moving worldwide.

You’ll use Oracle SQL, Postman, OpenSearch, and Grafana to diagnose root causes, monitor systems, and communicate with banks and PSPs. The role suits problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced fintech environments and want to impact

Qualifications

• Basic SQL skills, Oracle preferred.
• Strong problem-solving with ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Experience handling high-volume transaction environments with strict SLA windows.
• Experience with incident management and root-cause analysis.
• Direct experience negotiating and communicating with banks, PSPs, and processors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and administer the transaction flow and individual transactions using Oracle SQL, Postman, and OpenSearch.
• Maintain the business-critical payment services.
• Interact with partners about transaction flows.
• Investigate transactions flagged for manual parsing, document root-cause analyses, and update statuses.
• Investigate transactions stuck in pending status (payouts/funding) >3 days and escalate as needed.
• Provide incident response and create detailed incident reports.
• Guide and coordinate other employees resolving incidents.
• Communicate with banks and partners when issues are identified, including reporting and data corrections.
• Support SAR reconciliation issues, including unmatched or missing data.
• Monitor payment services and faults using Grafana and other tools.
• Coordinate deployments, rollbacks, and verify health after releases.
• Provision monitoring and fault detection in payment services.
• Make informed decisions on payment processing actions based on findings.
• Read API documentation to troubleshoot partner integrations.
