Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Head of Global Finance Operations to lead end-to-end payment operations across international markets. You will drive automation, manage a multi-region team, and ensure compliant, timely disbursement of payments.

The role requires 5+ years in accounts payable with global and multi-currency exposure, strong leadership, and a track record of process improvements within a multinational finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in Accounts Payable with a strong focus on payment operations.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams in a complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of global payment processes and multi-currency transactions.
• Experience managing operations across multiple regions or markets.
• Experience driving process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance technology platforms.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and performance management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Strong understanding of compliance, controls, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end global payment operations, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of payments.
• Oversee multiple payment methods across various currencies and geographic regions.
• Monitor payment cycles, service levels, and operational performance to support business objectives.
• Resolve complex payment, vendor, and banking-related escalations.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a global operations team, establishing clear performance expectations.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
• Partner with technology teams to implement automation and digital solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics, dashboards, and management reports.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to support operational excellence.
