Job summary

Optum, a part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Project Coordinator, Services to support onboarding and readiness activities for North America clients. You will collaborate with internal PMs, SMEs, and business leaders to ensure a smooth transition from early engagement to implementation and service delivery.

The role requires strong organization, exceptional communication, and experience working across multicultural teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project coordination or similar roles.
• Experience supporting international clients.
• Experience in multicultural/global teams.
• Experience identifying and resolving readiness gaps.
• Maintaining project plans, trackers, logs and docs.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, early engagement, and service readiness.
• Be primary contact for North America-based customers and internal stakeholders.
• Track prerequisites like infrastructure, resources, training.
• Identify gaps and develop mitigation plans to keep timelines.
• Communicate priorities and timelines with professionalism.
• Support governance activities: plans, milestones, risks, reports.
• Document decisions and ensure timely deliverables.
• Prepare stakeholder communications and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams within Services.
• Assist readiness reviews and transition planning.
• Identify ways to improve onboarding and efficiency.
• Foster collaborative, customer-focused culture.
