Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Onboarding to lead a global onboarding program for seafarers. The role drives end-to-end documentation, medical clearances, visas, and compliance with international regulations (MLC, STCW).

You will mentor a high-performing team and partner with Operations, Scheduling, Compliance, and HR to optimize crew movement and deployment while meeting strict KPIs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Maritime Operations, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for leadership roles.
• 10+ years of experience in crew management, onboarding, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding strategy and ensure alignment with KPIs.
• Manage a team of onboarding specialists and documentation coordinators.
• Oversee end-to-end crew onboarding, including documentation, medical clearances, visas, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, Compliance, and HR to align crew movement and deployments.
• Drive process improvements through data insights and technology enhancements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources or Maritime Operations

Master’s degree preferred
