Job summary

JORI Logistics in Cebu City seeks a reliable Freight Team member to support international ocean imports and exports. You will liaise with clients and carriers, prepare documentation, and provide quotes while coordinating tracking and billing tasks.

The role requires at least 2 years in logistics, knowledge of INCOTERMS, and strong communication skills. We offer a competitive salary, direct hire, and a non-toxic, work‑life balanced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience with strong knowledge of logistics.
• Knowledge of marine insurance.
• Knowledge of INCO terms.
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and with high keying accuracy.
• Deductive reasoning and critical problem-solving skill.
• Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and sets up international Ocean import including liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
• Coordinates and sets up international Ocean export including liaising between client and carrier, prepares required documentation and sets up insurance.
• Provides ocean quotes to clients and agents.
• Tracking & Tracing and updates client visible notes in CW accordingly.
• Administrative duties such as approving vendor tasks and billing.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and carriers.
• Reviewing and adhering to export controls regulations & MIGRA
