Job summary

Nestlé Business Solutions in Meycauayan, Bulacan, seeks an Ocean Freight Settlement Team Lead to manage end-to-end ocean freight settlement across markets, ensuring cost visibility, compliance, and timely settlement.

You will lead a large, multi-national team, drive continuous improvements, collaborate with markets, procurement, and carriers, and develop your team through coaching and structured training.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Accounts Payable and/or accounting operations.
• Understanding of end-to-end transportation and Source-to-Pay processes is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing operational teams, either directly and/or indirectly.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying and driving operational improvements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, cross-market improvement projects.
• Experience managing operational escalations and process disruptions.
• Experience working with external service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across markets, functions, and external partners.
• Experience working with digital platforms and using data to support decision-making.
• Ability to support governance, process adherence, risk management, and compliance requirements within an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ocean freight settlement operations across markets.
• Manage service performance, data accuracy, escalation handling.
• Lead a large-scale operational team in a shared service environment.
• Drive structured continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
• Identify and deploy best practices with knowledge management.
• Leverage digital platforms and data to strengthen visibility and decision making.
• Ensure adherence to global processes and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Nestlé Markets, Procurement, carriers and leadership.
• Support onboarding, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Develop team capabilities through training and coaching.
• Adapt to evolving processes and operating models.
