Job summary

Nestlé Business Solutions in Meycauayan, Bulacan, seeks an Ocean Freight Settlement Team Lead to manage end-to-end ocean freight settlement across markets, ensuring cost visibility, compliance, and timely settlement.

You will lead a large, multi-national team, drive continuous improvements, collaborate with markets, procurement, and carriers, and develop your team through coaching and structured training.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Accounts Payable and/or accounting operations.
• Understanding of end-to-end transportation and Source-to-Pay processes is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing operational teams, either directly and/or indirectly.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying and driving operational improvements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, cross-market improvement projects.
• Experience managing operational escalations and process disruptions.
• Experience working with external service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across markets, functions, and external partners.
• Experience working with digital platforms and using data to support decision-making.
• Ability to support governance, process adherence, risk management, and compliance requirements within an operational environment.

As the Ocean Freight Settlement Team Lead, you will lead and manage the Ocean Freight Settlement Team to ensure end-to-end orchestration and effective management of ocean freight costs across markets served by Nestlé Business Solutions. You will help ensure reliable and efficient settlement operations while strengthening cost visibility, control, compliance, and standardized ways of working.

• Lead end-to-end ocean freight settlement operations, ensuring effective control and compliance across ocean freight cost components in scope, including marine and inland-related costs.
• Manage service performance across ocean freight settlement, ensuring cost visibility, data accuracy, execution reliability, and effective resolution of operational and managerial escalations.
• Lead a large-scale operational team within an above-market shared service environment, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Drive structured continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process accuracy, and service quality.
• Identify, standardize, and deploy best practices while embedding knowledge management and structured learning across the team.
• Leverage digital platforms, technology, and data to strengthen visibility, decision-making, operational efficiency, data integrity, and business continuity.
• Ensure adherence to global processes, standards, governance frameworks, and applicable Nestlé Business Solutions, market, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders, including Nestlé Markets, Procurement, carriers, external service providers, and senior leadership.
• Contribute to the Nestlé Business Solutions Ocean Hub network through collaboration, alignment, and knowledge exchange.
• Support the onboarding and expansion of services, including transition, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Develop team capabilities through structured training, coaching, and talent development while supporting effective resource allocation and workforce planning.
• Support organizational adaptability as processes, technologies, operating models, and structures continue to evolve.
