Job summary

Staffstream is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Finance team of an Australian organisation in the allied health and healthcare sector. This hands-on role supports entities across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and other markets, contributing to month-end close, reporting, reconciliations, payroll accounting and budgeting.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple entities and financial systems, with strong English

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required.
• Hands-on experience as an Accountant.
• Proficient with Xero and multi-entity accounting.
• Strong month-end close, journals and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting activities across Australian and international entities.
• Prepare monthly journals, adjustments and financial reports.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Contribute to monthly financial and management reporting.
• Assist with payroll accounting and payroll reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Handle day-to-day finance tasks and ad hoc reports.
