Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics-Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support logistics operations with meticulous administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring accuracy of shipment records and timely processing.

You will coordinate import/export activities, liaise with overseas offices, carriers, brokers, and customers, review shipping documents, and help drive process improvements while meeting SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage incoming sea freight shipments.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, carriers, customs brokers, and customers.
• Review shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Arrival Notice.
• Arrange cargo release and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Handle exceptions, delays, and customer inquiries.
• Process export bookings and coordinate shipment schedules with carriers.
• Prepare and validate export documentation and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate cargo pick-up, stuffing, and loading arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with destination country and carrier requirements.
• Monitor vessel departures and provide shipment updates.
• Support billing and operational reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in the transport management system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and trade requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, overseas offices, and external service providers.
• Resolve operational issues and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Meet service level agreements (SLAs), productivity, and quality targets.
