Job summary

Ivoclar Vivadent seeks a Systems Engineer – Global IT to design, implement, and support a worldwide IT infrastructure. You will ensure servers, networks, cloud services, and enterprise systems are reliable and secure while driving improvement initiatives.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and collaboration across international teams. A hybrid work setup and international travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, IT operations (e.g., SAP Basis), and SQL database management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCOM (System Center Operations Manager).
• Proven programming and scripting experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement global IT standards, technologies and processes.
• Lead IT projects or services and manage cross-border teams.
• Develop improvements to processes and functionalities with customer profitability in mind.
• Architect, implement and support server and network topologies.
• Analyze and optimize core technologies including databases and operating systems.
• Develop software solutions to optimize IS/IT performance.
• Plan stress tests and business cases to validate systems under normal and extreme conditions.
• Collaborate across Ivoclar organizations and suppliers to deliver appropriate IT technologies.
• Handle change requests with process experts and project managers.
• Ensure new requirements fit standard functionality for maintenance.
