Job summary

Ivoclar is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build and maintain scalable backend services on the .NET/C# stack. You will integrate with APIs, data stores and messaging layers while collaborating with Full Stack and Frontend teams to deliver cohesive software solutions.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable enterprise applications, modern engineering practices, and a hands-on approach to DevOps, testing and architecture. Fluency in English is required, and travel may be possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET platform
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and data access layers
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and messaging
• Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OpenID/JWT)
• Awareness of CI/CD practices and DevOps culture

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve backend services and APIs using .NET and C#
• Build and maintain adapters and platform connectors
• Design data access layers and database interactions
• Create RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations using Message Bus
• Collaborate with Full Stack and Frontend teams, support BFF implementations
• Contribute to TypeScript-based backend components for frontend integration
• Write unit, integration and API tests to ensure reliability and security
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Mentor less experienced developers
• Assist with deployment, monitoring and site reliability
• Adhere to DoD and coding standards
