Job summary

SO-EN Garments Corporation is seeking an Import Purchaser to source international suppliers, negotiate on terms, and manage the end-to-end import process. You will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, coordinate with logistics, and maintain documentation for timely delivery of goods.

The role requires 3+ years in import purchasing, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and fluency in English with Vietnamese knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Intl Business, BA or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of import purchasing/procurement experience, Vietnamese market focus.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export laws, and compliance standards.
• Proven negotiation skills and track record of successful procurement deals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English; Vietnamese a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Source international suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers; manage PO and contracts.
• Place orders and monitor status; ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics providers; ensure compliance with import/export laws.
• Establish and enforce quality standards; coordinate inspections.
• Monitor costs; develop budgets and report on expenses and supplier performance.
• Ensure import activities comply with regulations and prepare necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics for seamless processes.
