Job summary

IOM, a related organization of the United Nations, invites applications for a roster to support surge staffing during disasters and humanitarian responses. Candidates should be available for deployment as needed and ready to complete onboarding and documentation quickly.

Applicants should have a relevant degree with experience in humanitarian work, data handling, and collaboration with government and UN partners. Fluency in English and Tagalog is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with relevant professional experience.
• Experience liaising with governmental authorities, UN agencies and NGOs.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs or other vulnerable groups (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational, administrative and financial aspects of the project per donor requirements.
• Keep supervisor informed on project status and support budget/work plan development.
• Coordinate data collection, verify information, and update information management systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields

Master’s degree in the above-mentioned fields
