Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the Philippines to diagnose and repair military and civilian wheeled equipment, including 7-Ton and 5-Ton trucks, back-loaders, tractors, and generators.

Work includes disassembly, rebuilding, and preventive maintenance in a shop setting with outdoor exposure. The role requires several years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, and the ability to work extended hours when mission demands it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Approximately three (3) years’ experience as an electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems maintenance mechanic, and Heavy Equipment or diesel maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical diagnostic equipment.
• A valid Driver’s License is required for all Labor Categories in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, tests, repair, maintain and operate various wheeled and non-wheeled equipment/vehicles to determine serviceability.
• Inspect, service, lubricate, adjust, and replace parts and subassemblies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnosis and isolation of malfunctions; replace major assemblies.
• Perform routine repairs including oil changes, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine work.
• Document maintenance actions in GCSS-A and order parts as needed.
