Job summary

Anaplan in Manila seeks an Accounting Analyst to join the GL Accounting team. The role manages daily cash activities, assists with journal entries, and supports month-end close. Collaboration with the US team is ensured by a fixed schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Philippine Time.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in public accounting or industry, experience with Workday, and strong Excel skills. CPA is a plus and global entity experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus.
• 4+ years of Public Accounting or Industry experience; Big 4 is a plus; global/shared service experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain 6:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule (PHT) for overlap with US PT.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems; Workday preferred.
• Strong English written and verbal skills; no communication challenges with US teams.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Experience with multiple legal entities and currencies in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations for global accounts.
• Prepare and post ad-hoc and month-end journal entries.
• Record month-end and quarter-end journal entries (e.g., intercompany loan interest).
• Prepare analyses supporting month-end results; contractor cost reviews.
• Assist with GL team calendars, checklists, and reconciliations in FloQast.
• Support financial reporting with schedules, statements, and PBC requests.
