Job summary

Netflix is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead the Manila-based Financial Reporting team supporting APAC, EMEA and LATAM. The role combines hands-on leadership with end-to-end statutory financial statement preparation for Netflix entities, ensuring IFRS or local GAAP compliance and coordinating external audits.

You will mentor accountants, drive process improvements, and collaborate across regions to scale the team and drive innovation in reporting workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• CPA, CA or equivalent accounting qualification is required.
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong expertise in IFRS and/or local GAAP; experience with APAC/EMEA/LATAM local GAAPs is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience preparing end-to-end statutory financial statements and managing external audits for international entities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and day-to-day oversight for the Manila-based Financial Reporting team.
• Lead end-to-end statutory financial statement preparation for Netflix entities in APAC/EMEA/LATAM.
• Coordinate external audits and local compliance obligations with auditors and regulators.
• Partner with tax, finance, and operations to improve processes and automation.
• Drive continuous improvement and scalability of the financial reporting function.
