Job summary

Netflix is seeking an Accountant to join the Manila Financial Reporting team, supporting statutory financial statements and external reporting for entities in EMEA, APAC and LATAM. You will collaborate with regional teams to ensure IFRS compliance and accurate reporting.

The role requires strong accounting experience, Chartered Accountant credentials, and the ability to work across time zones while improving processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multinational setting
• Degree in Finance/Accounting and Chartered Accountant
• Strong IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting experience
• Experience with preparing statutory filings for international entities and leading audits
• Exposure to Workday Financials or similar cloud ERP

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare statutory financial statements under local GAAP/IFRS for Netflix entities outside the United States
• Prepare and submit statistical survey reports for Netflix entities abroad
• Assist with internal and external audits with documentation and explanations
• Perform financial analysis and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
• Support month‑end close and post journal entries in local GAAP books
• Ensure alignment of accounting practices with cross‑functional teams (finance, tax, legal)
• Communicate with stakeholders across regions and time zones
• Contribute to process improvements in accounting and reporting
