Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking an experienced GBS Finance & Accounting Manager in the Philippines. You will oversee end-to-end finance operations, month-end close, billing and budgeting, ensuring compliance and robust controls while leading a growing team across regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities include governance of AP/AR, tax compliance, intercompany activities, and data-driven management reporting. A CPA and 5+ years in finance, with leadership, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
• Active Philippine CPA license is a plus.
• At least 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, incl. 2 years in leadership.
• Experience in statutory accounting, BIR tax compliance, and month-end close.
• Experience in shared service centers or multinational environments preferred.
• ERP-based accounting, advanced Excel and reporting tools (Power BI) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• A. Finance operations and transaction governance: AP/AR, cash, payroll, vendor/master data, reconciliations.
• B. Month-end close and financial reporting: reconciliations, journals, intercompany, tax inputs.
• C. Billing, planning and business partnering: monthly GBS billing, forecasting, budgeting, advisory.
• D. Tax, statutory and regulatory compliance: Philippine tax, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG, audits.
• E. Controls, risk and process improvement: internal controls, policy reviews, automation.
• F. People and stakeholder leadership: lead finance team, set objectives, stakeholder relationships.
