Job summary

EY Philippines is seeking a CPA-qualified Assurance professional to advise clients on technical accounting matters, including GAAP conversion and IFRS/US GAAP disclosures. You will lead engagements, guide teams, and collaborate with global colleagues to deliver high-quality services.

The role demands deep knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and consolidation topics, along with strong communication and leadership skills. Some travel may be required to support client needs.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• 6–10 years in Assurance, incl. 3+ years in Financial Accounting & Advisory.
• Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards.
• Hands-on advisory experience and ability to research complex accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on technical accounting matters, including GAAP conversion, IFRS/US GAAP disclosure support.
• Lead engagements with global clients across markets.
• Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and manage engagement progress and deliverables.
• Develop accounting policies, research accounting issues, and prepare whitepapers.
